History
Paving the Way for Armenia’s Electric Vehicle Future
Our journey to bring eco-friendly solutions to Armenia began in 2010, coinciding with a growing national environmental movement. Our deep desire for change led to the creation of several eco-friendly projects (EcoLED, EcoPUB, PLUG.am). A visit to California in 2017 left an indelible mark on us.
During our three-month stay in California, where electric vehicles were already an integral part of a cutting-edge, eco-friendly lifestyle, we determined our future development path. Witnessing the extensive integration of electric vehicles firsthand sparked our interest in exploring this innovative technology and direction. Immediately upon returning to Armenia, we conceived the idea of establishing a nationwide electric vehicle charging network. PLUG.am
Thanks to a successful collaboration with the Armenian Energy Agency Foundation, our vision became a reality. Today, we proudly operate 25 free charging stations across Armenia. The impact of PLUG.am extends beyond physical infrastructure. We have inspired many to confidently adopt electric vehicles, and our efforts have even influenced government policies, leading to additional incentives for the electric vehicle industry.

Three months spent in a community that thrived on a trendy, eco-conscious lifestyle left an indelible mark. Witnessing the widespread adoption of electric vehicles firsthand sparked a curiosity to explore this exciting technology. Upon returning to Armenia, the idea to establish a nationwide EV charging network ignited. PLUG.am: Through a successful collaboration with the Armenian Energy Agency foundation, our vision transformed into reality. Today, we proudly operate 25 free-to-use charging stations across Armenia. Plug.am's impact extends far beyond infrastructure. We've empowered countless early adopters to embrace electric vehicles, and our efforts have even influenced government policy, leading to the creation of additional benefits for the EV sector.

2011 թ.-ին 3 ընկերներով սկսեցինք մեկ այլ անսովոր բիզնես` բացելով փաբ Երևանի սրտում, որը լիովին տարբերվում էր այն ժամանակվա փաբերից: Այն առաջին լիովին չծխող վայրն էր, որտեղ ապրանքներն ու ոգելից խմիչքները ունեին օրգանական սերտիֆիկատ: ecoPUB-ը փոխեց հանրային սննդի ոլորտը Երևանում և այդ ժամանակներից քաղաքի սրճարանը սկսեցին ձևափոխվել դառնալով չծխող և առաջարկեցին նոր մենյուի հատված օրգանական պարունակությամբ:

2010 թ.-ին 5 ընկերներ ստեղծեցին Հայաստանում LED լույսեր ներկրող առաջին ընկերություններից մեկը: Այն ժամանակ LED լույսերը շատ նորարարական էին և ընկերությունը լավ արդյունքներ ցույց տվեց: Նաև մեր ընկերության աշխատանքի շնորհիվ Հայաստանում LED լուսատուների շուկան կտրուկ փոխվեց և բավականին զարգացում ապերց, բերելով ոլորտի անդառնալի նորարական փոփոխությունների։

Գաղափարը ծագել է դեռ 2017-ին Կալիֆորնիա կատարած ճանապարհորդության ժամանակ: Բարեբախտաբար, այտ այցելության ժամանակ հիմնական թաղամասը որտեղ բնակվում էինք շատ ժամանակակից էր և բնությանը մոտ։ VW eGolf-ը այն ամենօրյա «տեսարան» էր, որը դրդեց էլեկտրամոբիլների մի քանի փորձնական թեստ դրայվեր կատարել, և ակա վերադառնալով Հայաստան` լիցքավորման կայանների ցանցի ստեղծման գաղափարը սկսեց իր ակտիվ ճանապարհը: Համագործակցելով Armenian Energy Agency հիմնադրամի հետ `ցանցը սկսեց աճել, և այժմ մենք ունենք 25 լիցքավորման կայան ամբողջ հանրապետությունում, որոնք բոլորը անվճար են: Plug.am-ը փոփոխություններ բերող նախագիծ էր, որը խրախուսում էր առաջին օգտվողներին գնել էլեկտրամոբիլներ, ավելին, ծրագրի ընթացքում կառավարությունը նաև ներգրավվեց ոլորտի համար հավելյալ խթաններ ավելացնելով:
